Tinned tomatoes & chick peas at Poundland

Poundland in New Malden have packs of 4 KTC chopped tomatoes, plum tomatoes & chick peas. Cheapest I've seen for a long time (even cheaper than Aldi/Lidl). I don't know if they're available in all stores but worth a look.

We get KTC red kidney beans at Asda for 4 for £1 - they cook splendidly!

Must be all the stock they had left over from when they were 99p stores. My local 99p store had stacks of them before they closed.

You can get 4 tins KTC toms (better quality whole plum not chopped) at Asda and the red kidney beans 4 for a £1

Maybe in the larger superstores, not in my local Asda.

Tesco and Morrisons both do this offer regularly, you have to look for them in the "ethnic" aisles rather than with the rest of the tinned tomatoes. Usually they are 3 for a pound, but at regular intervals they go to 4 for a pound for a few weeks. Morrisons are doing it at the moment, they have tomatoes, chick peas and several other types of beans.
