I normally get the Sharnwoods egg noodles you boil in a pan rather then fry. But they are expensive..

Is there a cheaper alternative? remember I need dried noodles with no oil so they need to be boiled :money:

couldn't you just get really cheap super noodle types (like 15p job from supermarket) and just use the noodles rather than the flavour packet?

Saw today in Poundland medium egg noodles. A brand called Ke-lee I believe. You will find them with Magi noodles in the food section.

Lidl noodles are 19p and really nice as far as noodles go. Similar in Aldo.
ASDA have some in the world food aisle 5 for £1. Chicken or spicy. Really tasty.
