Gold Mining Shares?

Hi again,
I was sorting through my late Mothers old paper work today and came across this.
The South-Eastern Gold Mining Company share Warrant certificate. I have an address Registered Office 155, Herne Hill, London S.E.24. I have googled the info, but got nowhere.
This share thing must have been her partners, who died about 10 years ago. No idea what it is, or what to do with it. Any ideas?

Looking at Google street view 155 Herne Hill is a semi detached house.If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0
