Hi all, i am going through a divorce at the moment and looks like i will have to sell my family home that has been handed down to me from my parents, is there a way i can raise money to pay my ex out and keep my home. Im self employed and on low earnings, any advice/help will be much appreciated.

    Age, house value, income, who owns the house (you only or you and spouse jointly), any agreement as to distribution of assets, rich friends - all questions that would help the readers suggest options.

    How much is the house valued at?
    How much is your current Mortgage?
    How much extra do you want?
    How much is your income for the most recent tax year and previous?
    How old are you?
    Do you get any tax credits/benefits on top of your income?
