Engagement pressie suggestions please

My brother has just announced that he and his girlfriend of 10 months have got engaged! This is a good thing but a bit of a surprise to everyone in the family as he has steered clear of long-term relationships since his divorce (15 years ago).
Anyway, they're having a small get together to celebrate, and I have no idea what to get them as an engagement present (the wedding is set for next September).
They are both in their late 40s and have everything they need for the house. Anybody got any ideas? Many thanks in advance.

Hello
I got married last year and would of loved a wedding planner book or a magazine subscription to Cosmo Bride which was my bible!
Or how about a lovely engagement card they can then frame CLICK
Or how about a saving Terramundi pot CLICK
Lovers Wood Pack CLICK
Or you could treat them to a meal at a potential wedding venue so they can check it out x
HTH

Hi Alison
First of all - congratulations on your wedding - hope everything was lovely for you.
Thanks for the suggestions, I love the idea of the Lovers' Wood. Also a subscription to one of the bridal mags, never even occurred to me. I can be a bit slow sometimes
I'm deff going to do the subs for Joan, but my brother will prob leave everything to her anyway so the joint pressie will be the trees.
Thanks again:beer: :T
