I am not sure if it is a right forum to ask about car selling.
Can someone tell me if I can hide my car's number plate on the photo when advertising a car on the autotrader or other car trading websites?
It is a private selling trade and I read the following warning information about the identity theft on the internet.
"some people could be unlawfully stealing your identity when you sell your motor vehicle on ebay!"
Is it a compulsory requirement to show the car number plate on the photo on the advertisement.

Plenty are obscured on eBay.
Why not email Auto Trader or check private ads on thereIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
