Is carer's premium taxable income?
In op's first post he said
3) She has no other income but claims carers premium (stamp only put on) for
which I took to mean she was claiming carers allowance for national insurance crdit/stamp purposes only and not getting any actual money but hopefully op will give a definitive explanation0 -
Sorry I've used the wrong word its "Carers Credit" when you look after someone for 20 hrs plus per week who gets Attendance allowance or other specific benefits you do not get any income but get a NI credit towards your state pension.
