Stop lenders

Hi all
I was just wondering if there's a way you can ask lenders NOT to lend any further money? My partner has mental health issues and has got us into horrendous debt which we're working on. But less than 2 months after I found out about it he's borrowed more money from one of his credit cards and from Pounds to Pocket. He's confident that the CBT he's having will help him in the long run but we need a way to stop him borrowing more.
Probably sounds stupid but we wondered if you can do a Notice of Correction on your credit file stating that no further lending is wanted due to mental health issues?

Don't know if it's worth looking into, I remember there is something called lasting power of attorney (which isn't permanent, can be cancelled at a later date) where your partner can appoint you to deal with all his financial decisions. https://www.gov.uk/power-of-attorney/overview0

If you can do it a notice of correction would be the way to go. This means all credit applications will be referred and read by a real human, i doubt many would lend with that on thier record as it would leave them wide open to accusations of irresponsible lending.£1000 Emergency fund No90 £1000/1000

Not quite what you are asking for but I had a couple of fraudulent events. My Halifax card was cloned and someone also a Littlewoods account was opened. A marker was put on my record to say that if credit was requested there should be extra security. When I applied for a store card this was triggered. I did get the card because I passed the security but what I am trying to say is that the markers do get noticed and acted upon.Aiming to make £7,500 online in 20220
