holiday to USA DHL

Has anybody else had a call from DHL regarding a holiday to the US that is expected to be drawn in next couple of days?

Anybody recall the competition?

caught me on the hop....... how many packages do I send per year/size/what kind of stuff etc....

this is the only one I can find but says winner will be contacted w/c 13th August

hiya, I got a call from them earlier too, my dad took the message and they said they would ring back but havent yet! was hoping id won hehe

They may just be calling those that entered, there does appear to be no opt out of mailings etc ( commented on on the thread) you might just be on their database now

I got the same phone call on Saturday, but my mobile reception broke up and they never called back

yeah, they called me too. when i asked her about the comp, she said the main reason for calling was because my details were incomplete?!! yet she had not full name, telephone number, first line of my address & postcode. very strange indeed!

I had a call from DHL today and she said they would be drawing the winner within the next few days. If you say you send less than six parcels a year with DHL they will say you do not qualify to open an account with them! I did not have the heart to tell her I only entered for the hols to America. Hope this helps x

have also had a call from DHL. I said I would only send about 6 parcels and she said I was still in the draw.

Sorry, didn't know where to put this and just wanted to see how many people had a call & the outcome.... sorry if in wrong place.. hopefully someone will be reporting they have one soon :-)


I told her the amount varied from week to week, we shipped international, within the UK and Southern Ireland.

asked what goods where... asked average weight, what kind of service we used now.... asked me for my email and said I would prefer a call rather than an email, couldn't remember if I had entered one at the time and if I hadn't didn't want to give a hotmail account as I know no serious business would use one... anyway who knows..... will have to wait and see.. good luck to everyone x

I had a call on Friday from them. I think I entered this competition via Loquax forums as I remember it asking for a business name, etc. I put my works details as we do actually use DHL but fobbed the lady off when she called wanting to "ask a few questions" as I was in work and didn't want to get myself into trouble for arranging new contracts, etc. Told her to ring back on Monday during my lunchtime so I didn't have everyone listening but still waiting for the call!!
