New grip for putter - golf

The rubber grip on the handle of my putter needs replacing.
I popped into the pro shop at my club expecting to pay about £8 which feels a lot.
He showed me a few and it turns out the cheapest he could do is £18 (this is for just one club!). I felt a bit tight but just couldn't face paying it. For the record the putter itself only cost £19.99 (OK a few years ago).
Any ideas?

Buy a new cheap putter?
The £18 isn't actually to bad a price.
You could always buy a grip and do it yourself, plenty of tutorials on it online ... for an example to buy. http://www.gamolagolf.co.uk/acatalog/GolfGrips.html“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0 -
Yes, get a grip from Gamola Golf or Adore Golf grips.
Often they come with grip tape. Look on You Tube at how to fit, it's easy - should be a lot cheaper than £18 and you keep the putter that I assume you like....0 -
I would go with the professional personally, less chance of messing it up.0
