Why is nobody allowed to like these products? I went along to a pamper thing cos it was near my house and I'm a bit of a tart for skincare, buy anything really if I like the smell and it seems ethical. I bought a box with loads in it and although I really dislike the scrub (it's so oily! I COULD NOT get it off!) I like everything else and like it's all natural and cruelty free.

The woman running the session was a bit odd, but I'd try other products. I don't really like shopping much so this was handy for me. It's expensive but so is all high end skin stuff.

I'd say give it a go if you fancy trying something like this and I guess you probably need access to a big group of people. Probably all about building the team rather than selling products, so if that's your bag, go for it. I have a friend who has done Avon and Forever Living, she probably didn't make any money but I think she loved the products and I liked supporting her. As I say I'm a skincare tart and like trying new things :)

But this isn't high end stuff, you're sounding like yet another Tropic sheep believing all the guff they spout.

Wow why is everybody so rude? For context I think MOST SKINCARE IS A WASTE OF MONEY. It is all branding guff, some of it just calls markets itself as 'high end' and charges more, Tropic is like that.

Didn't anyone see what I said about Avon and Forever Living (and I'm guessing all the rest of these kinds of selling schemes) "probably don't make any money" So I'm supposed to be some pyramid sales person am I?! I'm absolutely baffled by how rude everybody is on this thread.

I'll reiterate what I said as some people want to twist my words:
    - I bought some products: some were great, some were awful
    - Does pyramid selling work? No idea, looks like hard work but if you enjoy it then no reason why not give it a go.
    - Are people stuck to one brand of skincare? I'm not but clearly some people are.

For some reason I thought that MSE wouldn't be all the usual horrible forum people just being unkind to each other but it turns out I'm wrong.

Hi all, thank you for your comments. I did look into Tropic, although I do like the products. I decided against it as I didn't like the Manager's attitude to signing me up and then not training me properly.

The products are actually really good but I didn't like the idea of selling on social media to friends and my newsfeed being all about the products. I have plenty of friends like that with other brands and if that works for them then that's fine and good luck to them.
  • Tropic skincare is just another Avon and Amway :/

MLM sales are not allowed on this site so I have locked this thread and referred to the forum team.

Also, worth noting that the new poster who bumped this old thread to sing the praises of the company (post also referred to team) is what you will end up having to do if you sign up to a MLM scheme.
