This is very sad news:
https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2016/jul/17/chris-boardman-mother-killed-in-cycling-accident
The circumstances aren't known to the public at the moment but I hope they track down the driver, that must make it even worse that at the moment it appears like a hit and run. I knew a bit about Chris Boardman as he speaks a lot about cycling but hadn't known anything about his Mum who sounds like she was an impressive individual.

Where are you getting hit and run from?
From the BBC reportCh Insp Darren Wareing said: "A full investigation is now under way, which will include a forensic examination of the scene, vehicle and bike.
"We have already spoken with a number of people, including the driver of the Mitsubishi pick-up, however I'd like to ask again if you were in the area at the time and witnessed the collision or any events leading up to it, to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 and quote RC1610 4385."

Very sad.Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler.0

I've either misread the article or they've updated it, I thought they said they were looking for the pick up but perhaps it was just they were looking for witnesses in general.
