I wanna idea of what to buy my dad for his 60th?

Hi guys,

Sorry if in the wrong place, please move if ness.

My dear old dad is 60 on Oct 8th and I want some ideas as to what to buy him that would be memorable.

He's not really into rally driving or the like, but likes Birds of Prey, scenery, gardening, DIY, nature - that kinda thing. I would be looking to spend about £60-80 max really.

I bought my Mum some theatre tix for her 60th birthday which is Oct 1st (trust me to have bl00dy parents with 'coming of age' b/d's a week apart!), but that's not Dad's bag, so any suggestions are most welcome.

I have got a photographer friend who would do some family shots as one idea, but getting hold of her isn't easy!

Thanks for any ideas :)

I'll move your thread to the 'Christmas and Special Occasions' board.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. • Hiya, What about a falconry course? Not sure whereabouts he is based but a v quick search came up with one in Sussex at £95, I'm sure you could negotiate a discount.
Or national trust membership if he likes getting out and about (it's what I'm thinking of buying my dad (63) for xmas. RSPB membership? The photo idea sounds good too.
All I can think of off the top of my head. I'm sure there'll be plenty of other suggestions soon.
I was a twin mum +2 but have been a twin mum +3 for a few years now. :)

    Hiya
For my dads 50th we gave him a hot air balloon flight. He loved it, it was about £100 and included champagne, certificate and photo. We all chipped in so it wasn't too pricey
