I think some people are making this sound more difficult than it is. It should be fairly straight forward, If releasing equity in the BTL then there are lenders who won't even require evidence of income as long as the rental stack up it should be ok. OP should consult a suitably qualified broker.I am a Mortgage & Protection Broker
