It's been around years, but mostly in cities.
I figure that even if it happened where I live .... nobody's my size/shape/height; I'm not "normal sized/shaped" so that other peoples' cast-offs in limited supply would ever fit anyway .... I'd never get to the point of choosing styles/fashion/colours of items.... nothing'd fit.
If 50 women walked into a room with a bag full of their unwanteds .... how many of those women would be your height/size/shape/age and then ... fashion.
It mostly happens for people aged, say, 30-45, 5'6" to 5'9" ... with quite a few hefty moos in there (er, I mean "strong boned").0 -

PN your negative mindset is robbing you of many good things in life. Half the pleasure of a treasure hunt is unearthing something you love!Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Speaking personally, I can't see it being preferable to browsing through a charity shop.
I don't particularly like 'party-style' events.0 -

Yes. Some friends and I had a black bin bag party a few weeks back. I got a brand new pair of jeans with the tags still on amongst other things. Anything left over after went to the charity shop.0
