No great surprise there then. Not very competent ..... silly memo to put out on the day IDS resigned spouting about how difficult it was to work with him etc ...... we know that dear .... just you ain't supposed to chatter about it publicly ....

Still, be interesting to see if a similar memo will appear now that she has gone .....

Presumably will go back to fighting for those dear beloved pensioners and old folk .... or where ever she is likely to get limelight!! :D

Not really a surprise that a now-expelled Labour Party member would not stay with another Conservative party administration, particularly when she seems to have been internally advocating Labour Party policies.

Hardly - her particular concerns (and the 'obvious' objections to those concerns) aren't party political. Labour doesn't particularly have a pensions policy at the moment, and the Conservative one is now up in the air with Osborne gone

At least one of her positions is Labour Party policy, more money spent on women affected by the state pension age changes.

Broadly, I'm glad she's not in that role any more, since it appears that most of the things she was advocating for conflict with my own views on the subjects.

She retains one of the best pensions there is - membership of the House of Lords.
