Hi,
Does anyone know how long the process is taking (HTB equity loan application) from initial application to offer, at the moment?
Many thanks,
SB

Anyone?
Our application went in last Tuesday (12th) but we've not heard anything since, even about the valuation.
Our broker says everything is fine, but I've heard that several times now, from several brokers :-(
Would I have heard about a valuation by now if everything was ok?
Thanks0 -
Where I work the current average with Aldermore is 14 days from application to Offer.I am a Mortgage BrokerYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Broker, so you need to take my word for it.

Thanks David. At what point during those 2 weeks is the valuation instructed please?
I'm only fixating on that, as I've heard that once it's been ordered, it's practically a done deal...0 -
As there is no way of knowing if the valuation is going to be done two days after the application or two weeks (surveyor availability for the area in question?) it's virtually impossible to speculate.
Ask the site to let you know when they've had a call for access and the confirmed inspection date then you'll be able to work out the earliest offer date (two to three days from the date of the inspection.)I am a mortgage broker. Hi, I had DIP with Aldermore 14/7/16, full application 15/7/16 and heard back this week (Tues 26/7/16) about the documents the underwriters would like to see and that valuation is now being instructed. Have you heard anymore? Mine is a new build HTB mortgage guarantee rather than equity loan but am worried about valuation as its a flat conversion near warehouses 0

I have gone direct as both brokers I initially sought advice from weren't very good :eek:0

Also, valuation done today (I called the estate agents). MA at Aldeemore said she's let me know when the report is in.0
