Who can I trust to provide me worthwhile CeMap training.

Options
Hi

I'm currently looking to study for CeMap.

I have looked online and there are hundreds of providers, which one do I choose?

I have over seven years banking experience and currently now work in a financial regulatory role.

Can anyone recommend perhaps through first hand experience.

Thanks.

Paul Archer @ Archer training it's done with podcasts/videos and an interactive workbook. I done it with him and got a distinction first time. We have since put through a load of trainees at our place and all have passed with flying colours.

I have not used Paul Archer personally but I have heard good things.

Have you tried reading the book yourself? CeMap1 is the hardest because it has nothing to do with being an advisor for about 99% of the book. If you are doing regulatory work anyway, you will probably have a good uderstanding of it. Personally I just did mock exams, read the book, more mock exams and then went and sat it. (I actually did RO1 but its similar to Cemap 1).

I'm with ACG, just read the book and did the mock exams and passed all 3 within about 6 months. I think as you are already working in the industry you should be able to do it, it's just finding the time to get do the study.
