Trainline not fully refunding Scotrail Strike

I thought it worth posting this, so that others aren't short-changed when getting a supposed FULL refund from The Trainline:
A couple of months ago I had booked tickets with The Trainline in Scotland. A few weeks later, they emailed me about possible service disruption due to Scotrail strikes. It turned out that both routes I had booked were cancelled.
I contacted the trainline and was told I could get FULL refund, so I posted back the tickets.
I recently got an email that the tickets had been refunded, and the money appeared in my bank account - except it didn't seem right. My tickets cost £71.81, but only £67.90 refunded.
On enquiring again, I was told the missing £3.91 was "£1.41 is for the card processing fee, £1.00 is for the Second Class Post and £1.50 is for the booking charge"
On complaining again, I was told they will make an exception and refund the difference, but this should not be needed!
It's disgraceful that the trainline should try to make money from a service they can't fulfil. If they are out of pocket, they should claim it from Scotrail.
While I noticed the refund didn't add up, most people wont.

Don't book through the trainline, book through a site that doesn't charge all these extra fees. Problem solved.0
