Does anyone who plays National Lottery Instants online know how it is ensured that there ARE any winners? Does a public body regulate this?

I imagine it's run by Camelot? Same as the normal lottery? If so complain/ enquire with them first.
If you're not happy after that then maybe the gambling commission?

Not really the right thread for a lottery question! This is Debt free wannabe's, and I don't think gambling will help!LBM 12.09.12 - £53K in debt.

New DFD is 28.10.2018 due to paying the absolute maximum.
Thanks to everyone on the DMP forum, and to SC for helping me out of this huge hole.0 -
I agree that this isn't really in the right place, but I went through a phase of playing national lottery instants, and did win prizes ranging from £1 to £20. The terms for each game are stated clearly including odds for winning a prize of any amount, as with real scratchcards there are a set number of top prizes and the games may still continue after these have been won.
I don't know how its regulated, I assume the same way that real world gambling is monitored.Debt free on 2nd January 2015Next savings goals:£5k emergency fund£4k holiday of a lifetime fund0 -

Isn't buying an instant lottery ticket real world gambling then? If not, what world is it in?"There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
What I think was meant was 'off line' gambling as opposed to 'online' gambling.0

got it in one teddy.
Playing any form of lottery or scratchcard online is as much gambling as walking to a newsagent and buying a ticket. My point was I would hope the regulations for any types of gambling are standardised, regardless of the method.Debt free on 2nd January 2015Next savings goals:£5k emergency fund£4k holiday of a lifetime fund0
