Changing property will affect credit score?

Hi forum,
I have put an offer in on the property and since they, they did a survey on it and sent me the very final paperwork (mortgage offer) to sign. I have NOT signed it yet.
Since then another much nicer property has just come on the market and I would like to now change my mortgage to this other property. So essentially my purchase on the original property has "fallen through".
Because I am now changing the property I am buying, will this affect my credit score?
Will the bank see this as me wasting their time? Or are they used to similar situations?

You can buy what suits you. If the new property values up the bank will lend on it.
