Probably the best of the offers is the Radio Times 12 issues for £1, but there are stacks more 5 for £5 offers on the same link.

Magazine sales must be going through a bad patch!

Usually, yes - but they do tend to block people who just keep taking the trials and then cancelling.

That is what I tend to do. However, I did subscribe for two years until recently.

I've never taken out a mag sub, would i be able to pay the 5 for £5 and not have any further money taken out.

If you notify them before your last issue is due and cancel your direct debit, you will be able to get your 5 for £5 with no further payments being taken. I usually send them an email after 3 issues stating that I do not wish to renew and I have had no problems.

Only really buy the Radio Times at Christmas for the bumper special edition.
