Ground rent / management fee arrears. Brady Solicitors

I received a letter from Brady Solicitors of Nottingham regarding ground rent arrears - which we actually did owe to a local company - but Brady also wanted hundreds of pounds for their fees. The 5 page letter talked about 'court proceedings' and 'losing your lease' but also had lots of typos and maths errors.
It turns out Brady Solicitors offer 'a no win no fee' for landlords seeking rent arrears. However, they don't appear to be registered in Northern Ireland. (The Law Society have no record of Brady Solicitors or the 'service charge expert' who sent the letter.)
Ultimately it turned out we had overpaid management fees by a similar amount to the ground rent due and Brady put their letter down to a mistake.
Anyone receiving similar letters might try resolving the issue with their management company/ landowner before paying.

HI, I have a majorproblem with Brady solicitors and thir grose unprofessionalism, careless and rude communication, endless mistakes and theatening style.
My situation started in a similar way to the one described above. We did owe servise charge to our maintetanace company, but it was down to the fact that they never invoiced us for anithing for wto years. So when they realised, they passed the matter onto Brady, who carelessly added thousands of pounds. Cant even say how much, as every leter they send states a different amount.
These people are vicious, nasty and arogant with their incompetency. I am not sure how se can defend our selves and win against the heafty fees they demad of us, to the tune £1500, for just issuing a claim, writing a letter and contacting our lender. Anyone who has some ideas as to how we can prove that this is accessive and unreasonable, please let me know, as thanks to this bunch we are totally brore, due to nasty company's errors.
Any advise would be gratly appreciated.
