CCJ Issue

Hello all. I am after some help if possible.
I have obtained a CCJ against someone who is now due to pay me the money due. I obtained advice on this issue and made the notice out to e.g Mr Smith T/A Smith Healthcare. The address of the notice was given as the address of the business.
Since this all began the person has sold their business and the building is now a residential property therefore I cannot send bailiffs round because there is no business there. Do I have any way of getting my money? Can I redirect the CCJ I obtained to his home address?
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

The judgement is against Mr Smith, not his business. The bailiffs can go to wherever they believe Mr Smith's goods are. If the ccj is for over £600 you can escalate this to the High Court and use HCEOs, rather than the county court bailiff.
The other methods of enforcement are still open to you:
charging order
attachment to earnings
third party debt order
If you need more info on him, you can also do an order to obtain information
and a statutory demand might be a useful tool depending on his circumstances.0
