Someone must have had a brainstorm. I too had to change my password because it had 'expired'. I had a real job changing mine because they said my e-mail address was invalid! It wasn't but took some sorting out. Then I had to invent a new password, then happily I was put back onto our dear familiar green format.

Getting rid of furniture is quite difficult. No one wants Brown furniture these days, so the good solid wooden stuff that I bet most of us have is worthless. I had to sell a 1780s small oak chest of drawers. It was very pretty and delicate but at auction I got hardly more than I paid for it over 50 years ago. I have a couple of items that I am hanging on to, it can take its chance among the Ikea offerings.

Have trouble remembering how to fly.

Phew, what a relief - my password also had apparently expired (2000 or so days old.) I thought for a minute I was going to have to type in 40 different characters to revalidate my account but thankfully not. Back in the groove!

4745 days for me. Which works out to 13 years. Bit sudden to get worked up about unchanged passwords!! Except it's more than 13 years since I joined this site
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

Except all my thanks are suddenly back again. But not the post count. Weird!

At least I managed to get the green interface without too much trouble

Thank you for thanking me Mrs L, I need all the thanks I can get if they are going to disappear at a moment's notice:rotfl:

Jesus wept. Just had to log in three times again on the blue screen.
  • I have never had the dreaded blue screen :D I was expecting it today as I changed my password yesterday. Yet another password into my notebook, five pages full of passwords

Thanks for furniture ideas, I think I have to sit tight. I could always put the bookcases and sideboard unit into a garage, if big enough and I am wanting enough room for a conservatory so the sofa could go in there. No point me jumping the gun and regretting it, all that furniture is nice. I need to learn patience
  • Mary I thank all of you every day just for being here, when life gets twizzled as it so often does it's the haven I know I can come to for some feet on the ground common sense (lots of giggling too when the occasion merits it) and when needed straight talking too! I DO thank you all, life would be far less interesting if I couldn't be 'me' somewhere in this world and very many people just wouldn't understand the prepping side of life if it was put directly under their noses. Like minds make good companions love xxx.

Patience isn't easy is it Kittie? I think we too will sit tight until life shows us a clear path towards our future. We've all we need here and I'm not going to panic myself into the wrong decision.
