:D Grinning at the prepper doll.

If needing to TWOC livestock of any variety, take a bucket. Seriously. Livestock loves buckets and critters will follow you when carrying one.

  • Yes, most often used for car thiefs - think young lads taking cars for joyrides (I know, not always, but often)
A youth worker colleague of mine had her car twoc'd - she put out the word that whilst it was insured, she would like her Mum's photos back from the boot. The car eventually turned up trashed, but the photo's came back in perfect condition, nicely wrapped :-)

I love that doll, particularly the lace petticoats! May have to make one...

Did she then "put the word out" as to what was going to happen to them now (ie for having done this to her car)?;)
  • I like the doll idea, so inventive and also very funny.

My own prepping goes rather poorly. If I had to bug out and camp, it would probably be a disaster as I have lost my sleeping bag among other things. And the head torch keeps slithering down my nose, however many times I adjust the elastic bit.
I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back

:) Is it possible that the elastic bit has perished and gone slack? Could it be renewed with a bit of elastic from the haberdashery?

  • No, it doesn't appear so and my OH has no problem with it. I do have an alternative but the light is so tiny it is more like a glow worm. Not a fat lot of good for illumination but handy as I could use it to show my family where I am, then I wouldn't get mislaid. I can't find the Swiss army knife thingy either, I think lightweights like me stand little chance in apocalyptic conditions. At least I have stout boots and warm socks.
