I'm not a child-friendly person, Lyn, and I wouldn't do that for less than a four figure sum. No offence to your zebra-child and his little friends, it's just the way I am.

S'OK, if we can sneak in before it starts and have a go on the bouncy castle and do a little jelly flingage, I'm up for it.

I should warn you I'm a horror when high on sugar and E numbers and have considerably greater chaos potentiality than a pre-schooler (although am noticably less shrieky).

The only time I was able to catch a lift to the outdoor summer evening archery out in ye countryside, there was a hot air balloon lifting off from the next field.

I begged Teach to let us have a go at shooting it, it was so close, there was about two dozen of us with hundreds of arrows between us.

Nah, he said laconically, It's a bu88er getting the arrows back afterwards.

It was tough but a bit big to bring down with just a longbow, I'd've wanted the compound bow archers to chip in (quarter mile range at half speed of sound).

It was an advertising hot air balloon and I did think I'd be making a point against capitalism by downing it but, I suppose, Teach has his professional reputation to think of. Not to mention his insurance.

Could have been a major news story, tho - said balloon was advertising the local newspaper group........ :rotfl:
