Banntynes gym membership woes help

Below is a transcript of the complaint i've just sent in which should make everything clear. Can anyone here help?


My girlfriend and i have been joint members at Carlisle for a long time, myself even longer. We recently found out Bannatynes have changed their prices, meaning we have been paying EXTRA for the same product as everyone else, when the whole point of a joint membership was to save money.

I enquired at Carlisle, and they refused to change our direct debit without tying us in to a further 12 months contract. This is absolutely appealing customer service. We cannot commit to 12 months as we're saving for a house and we don't know where we we'll be in a years time.

All we want is to continue using the gym for the same price as everyone else and obviously, a refund for however many months we've been wrongly overcharged. This seems simple and logical but the staff at Carlisle store refused to help.

Please consider this as official complaint about the customer service at Bannatynes Carlisle, and a request for your help is resolving this matter.
