Default date changed - advise needed

Hi, I have posted a few queries here lately as I am in the process of gaining settlement figures from my creditors. Its a bit of a slow process as some are taking 6 weeks to reply and then I can never get to speak to anybody! Anywayyyyy...I had some good news last week from Barclaycard. Because of their internal payment plan system, I had been bounced from one plan to another from 2011. This resulted in my account defaulting in 2015 and not 2011. Barclays have now agreed to change the default date to the first date I experienced difficulty (feb 2015). My query is, does anybody know whether this is something creditors are doing across the board? Barclays said it was because of feedback from customers. Would love to see something published to back this up. My other defaults date to late 2011, but if they were aligned to Feb 2011 then Im 6 months away from my 4 defaults dropping off my credit file! Woohoooo!
Anybody reading this who is in a similar situation I suggest you ask the question.

Hi Johnny
Firstly, congrats on this!
Secondly, I've been fighting a similar battle with Barclaycard - was just wondering if you had any specifics on what you actually said to Barclaycard to get them to agree to change the date? I'm getting nowhere fast with them at the moment!
Thanks!0
