For this series there are 5 episodes and Gregg Wallace and Chris Bavin are joined by a new presenter Hala El-Shafie. Going by the website it looks as if the programme brief may have been slightly evolved.

It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?

I missed it!
It's never relevant to my life/style ... but I do like to watch these programmes.
It's often dominated by the family being told that if they bought a whole salmon instead of six separate Waitrose/Harrods portions it'd be cheaperVfM4meplse wrote: »I switched the TV on to see some gurning....could only mean one thing
Gawd ... not the oddball, bald, gurning grocer!!0 -
But they only suceeded in reducing their weekly bill from just over £300 a week to about £210 (2 adults & 2 teenage girls).

Hi all, I saw it. They could have saved so much more really easily. Tinned leak and potato soup? Even I can make that!
They are still spending fifty quid a week per person! They should come here and learn to get it down further.

I'm so glad I'm not the only person who wanted to shout at the tv!
They saved more than I actually spend.
I don't have teenager yet but is it normal for a 17 year old not to be able to cook?0
