Payments and money claim online

Hi
I am looking for advice please and I hope you can help. Myself and ex wife divorced 5 years ago. We are now very belatedly going through mediation. She has stayed in the martial home with the children and I have paid CSA every month - £700 per month. She has paid the mortgage herself and it is up to date. We are joint tenants and mortgage is in joint names.
Mediation was suggested by me which she didnt like as there is a substantial amount of equity in the home. I have no desire to have the house sold but we do need to sort the finances out. She has now decided, out of the blue, to submit a money claim online for 1/2 of all the mortgage payments. Claim form has dropped through the door this morning (Satuday) so I cant speak to my solicitor. I know I need to file a defence - total amount of claim £10064.33 (with fees). Please can anyone give me advice on this? Surely this kind of thing is what mediation is for?
Thank you

Put your question over to the wikivorce site. As far as I remember she does not have a claim to half the mortgage payments as child maintenance is paid in lieu of the mortgage payments and she has had exclusive use of the house (in addition you could claim half rent back from her for your share of the house).Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060

Yes found it thanks and sorry - I thought it was a Forum on here. Have posted on there as well. The claim is for the full amount of mortgage payments, not half of them.0
