online mortgage query / advice

Hi all,

looking to buy my 1st house in the next few months.

I had a bad history of pay day loans, which i have sorted out and now have gone a year without lending anything . i have a few defaults which are due to drop off next month

i have no outstanding debt and have a deposit of 20k

ill be looking to put down on a house of up to 110k

i know that i will probably need to take out a bad credit mortgage, just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation, managed to go high street ?

im also thinking about using an online mortgage broker? can anyone reccomend one or are they not advisable?

i live in the greater manchester area

thanks in advance

No way of suggesting suitable lenders without seeing the whole case.

    Why online?

I would be surprised if there were not high street lenders who would take a look at it. No guarantees obviously but I would not reside myself to it being higher rates than normal.
