16 Sanyo Hit 250s.4kWp SMA 3.8kWp inverter. SW roof. 28° pitch. Minimal shade. Nov 2011 install. Hybrid car. Ripple Kirk Hill. N.E Lincs Coast.

My thoughts, well, in less than 1/2hour I've just ....
Checked the inverter log for errors - none - Tick
Looked under panels for hanging cables - none - Tick
All DC cables still have unsightly labels - Tick
No percentage change between AC metered at inverter and TGM - resistance no change -Tick
DC cable damage, visual check (binoculars) - none visible - Tick
Performance monitoring (well who does that then ?
) - no degradation noticed - Tick
DC voltage/Current, two MPPTs compare well - no apparent issue - Tick
Isolators - well they are still there, aren't damaged and the system works as when new - no issue - Tick
Inverter cleaning, Visual & finger test - No dust, no grime, not even a spider web - Tick
... and still had time to write this post ....
Should I/we claim another £199 saving against my/our installation(s), or simply spend the sum on something which will either be enjoyable or actually save money ? ...
