It says if you book via Ticketmaster you can get an extra 20% off concessions by quoting the password nationalrail in the promotions box.

Works for adult and child tickets too i think.

You might want to read the Terms & Conditions - I wonder if they will make you show your "One" train ticket at the door?

20% off admission offer is valid from 21st November – 30th August 2008 inclusive. Customers holding a voucher leaflet (or voucher download) and valid ‘one’ railway train ticket will be admitted with a 20% reduction on the normal ticket price. Opening times are 10.00 – 17.00 (daily). Advanced booking terms and conditions: Price quoted is the lowest available ‘one’ Advance single fare. Tickets must be booked in advance and availability is limited. Available for travel on selected Intercity services to and from London Liverpool Street only. Fares valid until 1st January 2008. Fare applies from most ‘one’ stations for journeys via Norwich or Ipswich.
  • There are no terms and conditions on the Ticketmaster site where the tickets are actually purchased that specify any such 'One' ticket must be shown.

When booking the tickets here it simply says "National Rail 20% offer
Select the number of tickets needed and enter your password in the box"

The Kellogg's Family ticket password is 'TUT' by the way. Comes to just under £15 with service charge + postage blah blah for 2 adults and 2 children I believe.

I remember that I saw a discount code on Kellogg's coco pop (600 g for something less than £1.50 in Sainsbury's -- cheaper than buying the small pack). I can't find it now. But if you just want the code, you can note it down from the side of the box in any supermarket. I don't think you need to present the original box. However, not sure as haven't tried it myself yet.
  • argh sorry the Kellogg's family ticket was for each person so it works out at something like £53.75 for 2 adults and 2 kids on a weekend, compared to £58.75 without the voucher.

i thought £15 was too good to be true. and it was.

    Thanks in advance.

I successfully used the printed voucher to purchase some tickets in person from the box office last weekend. They didn't ask to see my rail ticket.
