Amazon isn't likely to be hit by Brexit, in that they distribute stuff from ROW->UK here. They don't manufacture and export.

Currently that's the wrong way round. Importers are getting hit. Exporters benefit.

Why is everything brought back to Brexit ?
Haven't we got enough threads about it already ? It's done and dusted.

Leave voters have yet to see concrete proof about leaving the EU being better than remaining, and are therefore desperate to validate their opinions.

Granted, Remain voters have yet to see concrete proof either, but they have the advantage of being able to compare the change with the status quo.

    Remain reality.
Talk me through the Italian Bank crisis and potential effects?
Talk me through the tsunami of over production from China about to crash into the EUs shores which will devastate deflationary Southern Europe

Other EU nations will be forced to have referendums, years of uncertainty in the EU

Talk me through the fact the IMF have been urging Sterling devaluation for some time due to global devaluation and currency wars. Brexit has been prefect for our essential devaluation

Large hoteliers are reporting significant uptick in bookings to the UK

India trade talks under way already

    China wants talks

Others want trade talks already, and the FACTS tell us trade deals can and are done quickly

EU is appalling at trade deals, none with India, Chine complained yesterday the EU is dreadful to deal with

    Damn those FACTS

Each new Amazon job is a little independent shop closed.
Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.

Most of those 1.25 billion are peasants living in grass/mud huts.
Even the growing middle classes with IT or call center jobs are not wealthy by our standards.
We won't be selling them a lot of rolls royces.

So predictable, I knew this response would come

Firstly it's wrong, secondly there's a massive a growing middle class, thirdly the big American chains would not be there if what u say was accurate, fourthly its but one of many global partners we will be boosting trade and realationships with

Daft Clegg said we would draw up the draw bridge and turn our back on the world, and the gulliable fell for every word

Watch us propsper like never before and have our own seat at all the global tables

    Cmon feel the love lissy

Not quite, the little independent shops were ruined by the identikit High Street chain stores, out of town retail parks, mega-supermarkets selling everything, etc. Amazon is now hitting those chain stores, supermarket chains and retail parks. What goes around, comes around.
