Valuation

When do you hear of any valuation issues if there are any with the survey? We've gone along to the mortgage centre now after approval, do we take it that the valuation is in line?

I'd say it depends on both the lender and who is valuing the property.

Ours was valued in the pm of the 5th and the valuer let the bank know that same afternoon. When i called the bank later that evening, other than a slight fudge up with some conflicting details, the offer was ready to be sent.

Some on here have to wait for 3 days, some a week.

My valuer said he would call me if there had been any issues, not sure if that is normal protocol. My philosophy with these things is 'no news = good news'

You'll receive a copy of the valuation report. May contain something that you need to address before proceeding further.

You don't always get a copy of the val report. Best speak to the lender. Generally lenders have reports back no more than 48hrs after the valuation takes place.
