Mobile Phone
Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen, the 5" water-resistant one.
1GB memory & 8GB storage version, black only.
In Vodafone shops (also delivered free).
£79plus minimum £10 top-up = £89 total - a great price!
Unlock codes are usually from just a few pounds too, if you want it unlocked quickly.
(Otherwise you must use Vodafone for a month & then submit a request.)

The new versions are due out any time now ( the equivalent new is called Moto G4 play) so a chance to grab a bargain here.

My OH has this phone, it's been great and he would highly recommend it.

I'm surprised you don't hear more about the Moto G phones, great product, i've still got a 1st gen Moto G - great bit of kit, does everything you want from a smart phone. If mine packs up wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

Combine it with a sim-only deal, the Virgin sim-only deals are pretty good (£5 a month) - really cheap smart phone package.

When I hear people paying £30+ a month for their mobile phones, they must have money to burn!

Not sure which gen my OH's is, but we bought it outright on Amazon for a little over £100. We combine that with GiffGaff's rolling SIM and at most pay £7.50 per month. I agree, I think people who pay more than £20 a month for their mobile are crazy! Let alone change it every 2 years.

Bought the new Motorola G4, from mobilesphonesdirect, £12.50 a month before cashback, £9.50 afterwards, free phone. Thought that was a good deal, considering paying £10 a month with Tesco mobile. Phone out for delivery today apparently, supposed to be better camera, bigger screen etc.

Ive got an 8gb version of the Moto E , I have to keep a minimum of apps on it otherwise it runs out of space despite using an sd card and backing up all photos etc to google drive

    I'd go for the newer 16gb G4

I got the same mobile and bought the sd card but not all Apps can go on the card.
Trouble is the 8gb is really only 5gb space you can use.
Have a look for the clean up apps as they take a lot of junk off the mobile.
Sure you know all that Browntoa :)
I just added it just to let others think twice before getting a 8gb mobile.
    Good mobile though.

I bought a Kingston 16gb card and moved everything I could which freed up a lot of space. I also use Clean Master which prompts me to get rid of all the crap.
