I fear BREXIT has opened Pandora's box and the fear in the markets could lead to a domino effect of problems that could have a devastating impact on the UK's economy for the next decade.

Is the global economy in good health? Majority of the EU has been contracting for the past 5 years when Germany is excluded from the stats. The UK is far from alone.

No it isnt and I'm not suggesting for one moment UK or global economy is in good shape whether in or out of EU however I think that BREXIT has hit it like a hammer and what may have occurred over a period of years is now happening over a period of days and weeks. It's a worrying time.
I am insane and have 4 mortgages - total mortgage debt £200k. Target to zero = 10 years! (2030)

Something would have lit the touchpapers sooner or later. Only matter of time.

Austerity in the UK has only just really started.

Do you really think the Brexit vote has triggered the world to come around to your way of thinking?

i.e. things are already bad and they're going to get a whole lot worse before they get even worse.

Sounds like a massive chunk of confirmation bias.

Austerity in the UK has now ended I think you mean, what will happen now is a period of stimulation. Austerity is now dead.

No austerity is not dead. The squeeze continues relentlessly. Still huge productivity and efficiency gains can be made in many areas. Brexit or no brexit the objectives are unchanged. You can only influence that over which you have control.

At the moment Osborne has changed his tune, all his planned austerity budgets are down the pan. But can they control things.....the Lone Carney on Silver seems to think so..._
