I'm a big fan of Lock & Lock because they really do last much longer than the pound shop specials.
QVC has a great value set of 12 containers (3 sets of 4 boxes) which are all nestable to save space... £16.92 plus £4.94 postage.
That's less than £2 a box and the largest ones are 1.6 litre.
