I had to use the Bolton phone number a few weeks ago as Vertex had decided to keep a couple of the child support payments due to me.

I won't dwell on the details of the conversation, save to say that a strong complaint has gone off to my MP regarding the 'attitude' of the two people I dealt with.

I have been also informed that staff have had a memo from those on Mt Parnassus stating it is the CSA's intention of stopping all geographical phone numbers. Therefore 'clients' will have no alternative but to use 0845.

I suppose the govt will have to recoup money from every source possible given the govt is bankrupt - bar, of course, to use one example of those MPs having to repay expenses to pay for their gardeners.

Thought people might be interested to hear of yet more incompetence handed out by our mutual friends to myself.

Review done back in January. Payments from then on being erratic ie full amount not being paid out. Naturally I thought they were hanging on to some monies to gain bank interest for their coffers. This happens to a lot of people and it's a good money earner.

Despite me dealing with the Parliamentary business unit, who, in turn, have to email Bolton to get matters resolved, and me being continually reassured that the payment schedule is now rectified, guess what?

Yes...after involving my MP...yet again...I had been very patient with them this time...it transpires that when after the review had been done some numpty has issued the schedule on an earlier payment schedule :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:which was obviously lower than the present one.

This has been going on for months.

Looking forward to receiving yet another compo payment.

What stupid, thick, incompetment, blundering idiots.

Quite! I have stopped getting upset and frustrated with the CSA. Every time they blunder I just put in for maladminstration.

It really is disgusting that these pathetic errors keep re-occurring.

And another thing re: phone number. I have put in complaints about the attitude of two members of staff there.

The third time I phoned the woman had the audacity to transfer me through to the national helpline! Haven't dealt with that """"helpline"""" in years. Took ages to answer and spent more time going through security questions than actually having a conversation about my little problem. Then I was lied to again having been told it was rectified and monies in b/a in 3 days time.
