The website lists 8 puzzles 4 cash magazines: 4bdZdZ8.png

The offer you've linked is specifically for four of those eight magazines :)

Exactly - they sell 8 magazines and 4 of them are on offer at £12.

so "How many different 'PUZZLES 4 CASH' magazines are on offer. Is It 8 - Is It 6 or Is It 4?"

What is really stupid is the email they have sent saying 4 is the wrong answer SEE HERE includes the offer for 4 of the magazines immediately afterwards :o

"Judges decision is final" is the general principle, and if the judge thinks Berlin is the capital of France, you won't win if you've answered "Paris"

It doesn't matter anyway - Take their advice and enter twice - once with each answer.

    Oh, I see! :)

    Well that's very odd!
  • I think they've just not realised their ambiguous usage of the phrase "on offer" - technically it has two definitions, one meaning "on offer at a reduced price" (often referred to as a "special offer" to differentiate), the other meaning "are available". They think they are being clear in using "on offer" as "are available" (making the correct answer 8), but actually it's really easy (since we're not all mind readers! :) ) to take it as meaning "on special offer"/"on sale at a reduced price" etc. (making the answer 4). I assume because they (the competition runners) knew what they meant, they can't see it as ambiguous and think we are all guessing wrongly, but actually the question is just open to interpretation! Both answers (4 or 8) are correct, it just depends what the question is! :D
