My sons schools shoes have velcro on them. This is getting dirty and clogged up with grass, carpet and unidentified substances :eek:

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to clean this. I have tried picking at it with a needle but this will take forever as its mostly little bits.

try a stiff bristled brush like a nail brush or even a suede brush

Flea comb (or nit comb) usually works well.
