His & Hers wedding rings

Yep- I'm getting married soon and looking for well priced (but not tacky, something nice) his and hers wedding rings.

The other half hates gold - so gold in a big nono.
Any suggestions anyone?

There are places where you can make your own, you make his & he makes yours. Then you can get it sent off & jewels put in/engraved etc.

We got our rings from Orla James: https://www.orlajames.com/

Our rings were around £200 each, which I didn't think was bad considering they're hopefully going to be wore for the rest of our lives. They're as low as £50 for a silver ring though. Added bonus was that they offer ring samples through the post so you can wear them around the house before buying.

There's also the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham, which has tons of jewellery shops that are considerably cheaper than the high street shops. My engagement ring came from there, but the most commonly used metals are gold and platinum. We wanted rose gold and the selection was almost non-existent.

If the Jewellery Quarter is too far from you, Betts Metals has a website you can order from. They sell metals to traders as discounted prices but there's nothing stopping you signing up and ordering a finished wedding ring:

These were the best prices we found, but we didn't purchase from them in the end as I needed a wishbone ring to fit around my engagement ring and they didn't stock any in rose gold.

FWIW I replaced a worn-out silver ring with an 8mm Tungsten and I love it - very practical, very affordable (like £15 give or take a tenner), extremely durable, just about impossible to scratch, still looks as new.

Thanks so much - Orla James looks just right for us. :T
