Repaying my debt plan....

Hi there.
I currently owe about 2.3k on high interest cards. I am aiming to have this repaid or a good chunk paid off it in a couple of months as I will be getting some money. I need to remortgage. I've posted on previous pages about this so apologies if this post is more suited there. It's about my debt though.
For some reason I have decided that I need to have some savings. I know that this is silly as I am paying mad interest rates but I just can't let my savings account go there is not very much in it £500 ish. Am I mad? I need to get out of my overdraft I currently live in it. I know I need to get the debt paid and I need to cut all unnecessary spending has any one any advice for me? I am hoping my credit rating will improve with these changes ... I'm all over the place so sorry if this doesn't make sense!

Theres no point having high interest debt and low interest savings really.
If you had an emergency and needed to get something urgently you could simply put it back on the CC (not ideal) but better than the interest you've got currently accuring.0 -
Thanks for this.. I know it is mad and I need to sort it. Xx0
