Prize Draw Rules
These rules apply to the following competition being conducted by WWRD United Kingdom, Ltd. (‘WWRD’), of Wedgwood Drive, Barlaston, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, ST12 9ER: WIN the ultimate English afternoon tea experience.
1. No purchase is required.
2. There will be one prize draw. Entry to the draw can only be made by completion and submission of the above form.
3. On-line entry will be available from 12 noon on 1st July until midnight (GMT) on 15 August 2016.
4. Your responses must be completed within the designated selection fields marked on the on-line form. All areas marked with an asterisk (‘*’) must be filled out before submitting your entry. Where areas marked * are not completed, your entry into the prize draw will not be accepted.
5. One prize is available to be won, as follows: Day 1: (i) World of Wedgwood discovery ticket (combined ticket for factory tour and museum) for 2 people; (ii) Wedgwood Afternoon Tea Master Xu Experience for 2 people; (iii) retail voucher to the value of £100 to be spent in the Wedgwood retail flagship store only (outlet shop excluded); (iv) dinner (food only, all beverages excluded), bed and breakfast at the Cavendish Hotel in Baslow, Derbyshire. Day 2: (i) Taster tour of Chatsworth House; (ii) Chatsworth Garden Tour; (iii) Wedgwood afternoon tea at the Flying Childers restaurant. Other than set out above, the prize shall not include any costs/expenses incurred by the winner in visiting World of Wedgwood, Cavendish Hotel and Chatsworth House, including but not limited to travel costs to and from the locations, any food or beverage not specified in the prize details and any other incidental expenses associated with the hotel stay. There are no cash alternatives. WWRD reserves the right at its sole discretion to substitute the prize for any reason with a prize(s) of an equivalent value.
6. Entry to the prize draw is restricted to one per person, subject to proper completion of the relevant on-line form. Multiple, automated, bulk or third party entries will be disqualified.
7. The prize draw is open to residents of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland only.
8. The winning electronic entry which complies with these Rules will be randomly selected using the web service https://www.random.org in the presence of an independent observer on 16 August 2016. The selection shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. The winner will be notified by email, sent to the email address provided at the time of entry. If a winner cannot be contacted then the prize will be deemed to be forfeited and no substitution or other compensation will be awarded. The winner will be required to book the prize in advance, subject to availability, quoting the winning prize draw voucher reference. This reference and booking contact details will be provided to the winner. The prize booking must be made prior to 31 October 2016 and Days 1 and 2 booked consecutively. The full prize (including retail voucher) must be used prior to 31 October 2016. If the winner is unable to make a booking prior to 31 October 2016, then the prize will be deemed to be forfeited and no substitution or other compensation will be awarded.
10. By entering the prize draw competition, the winning entrant consents to WWRD contacting them by email and to WWRD publishing their first or given name and town of residence on https://www.wedgwood.co.uk and on its social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
11. By entering the prize draw competition you'll automatically opt-in to receive email marketing newsletters from Wedgwood UK and the World of Wedgwood Visitor Experience. You may unsubscribe at any time.
12. Use of your personally identifiable information shall be in accordance with WWRD’s Privacy Policy (available at http://www.wedgwood.co.uk/legal-information/privacy-policy/). WWRD may disclose the personal information of any entrant to a third party in order to fulfil all necessary requirements relating to the award of the prize.
13. By entering the prize draw, entrants agree that WWRD shall not bear any liability for (a) entries which are lost, incomplete, delayed or destroyed (whether as a result of website failure, technical problems, traffic congestion on the internet or otherwise); or (b) any property damage in any way attributable to the prize draw (including but not limited to damage to computer equipment or software) or resulting from downloading any material from the prize draw website.
14. Where for any reason beyond the reasonable control of WWRD (including without limitation by reason of a virus) the prize draw cannot be carried out or completed in accordance with these Rules, WWRD reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the prize draw.
15. The instructions on how to complete and return the on-line competition entry form part of these Rules. These Rules constitute the entire agreement between prize draw entrants and WWRD regarding the prize draw.
16. These Rules are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and by entering the prize draw entrants agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
