My Local covenience stores... 50% off everything... Today and tomorrow only

"My Local" convenience stores (previously owned by Morrisons) have gone bust... EVERYTHING in store is half price including cigarettes.

I believe some stores have already closed... But others are open until late tonight and tomorrow will be last day.

Within 6 months, so they will be hoping most find new employment elsewhere first.

mine looked closed (shutters down) when I passed by Friday. Such a shame they didn't last very long.

Yes but they also know they have the benefit of a trained workforce.

I passed the one on New Oxford St around 7pm on Friday and couldn't understand why the shutters were down...this thread explains it.
