I'm a NatWest customer and have been for 7 years or so, I applied for a loan of £5000 on Tuesday to put towards a car as mine is broken, I believe I was accepted in principle and received this yesterday morning after signing an online contract

Thank you, your NatWest loan agreement has been agreed in principle. Funds should be available in your account on the next working day, see note below, subject to a final check.

On completion of our final checks we will transfer the funds to your account, please ensure that the proceeds have been received before trying to withdraw any funds. If there is an issue with your application we will contact you directly to discuss this with you within two working days.

Contact us on 0345 3030 299 if you have any questions or if we can help with anything else. Our opening hours are 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm Sunday. Calls may be recorded for training purposes.

Note: Money in your account next working day applies to customers who apply between 8am and 10pm Monday to Thursday (excluding public holidays) and meet our credit requirements.

I haven't been asked for any payslips etc, so I don't really understand what the final checks would be. Has anyone else had this before and what is the likelihood of me being accepted?

Thank youuuu!

    Call the number and ask.

I don't believe anyone on here can tell you the likelihood.

In all likelihood you have been approved by an online system. An underwriter of sorts is likely to manually look over the acceptance to make sure the computer didn't miss anything...
