Bear in mind that it's only got a digital zoom, not optical. for not much more you could get a pentax s30, which is TINY, 3mp, with 3x optical zoom.0

But is this camera any good, it looks very bulky!! Mind you for £60, beggars can't be choosers. Any opinions on it??? Seems to be a glut of cheap 3megapixel camera on the market0

Its a good starter camera. It has good reviews on Amazon and the sample pictures on Steve's Digicams website look pretty good. I think given the fact that it comes with the dock which charges your battery as well as one touch transfer from cam to PC, for the price I think its a bargain. (but then i am biased as its my post lol)"There are no pockets in a shroud..."0

Personally I wouldn't touch any camera with no optical zoom.
If you want a proper rebate on this go thruogh quidco.

Good old greasypalm taking 50% commision again.0 -
I bought this a week ago from Boots and sold the dock on ebay for £41! Net cost < £20 for a digital camera which is for my 9 year old for taking on holiday, so a defn bargain there!!

I'd recommend the pentax S30 for £100 too.
The point I was trying to make was, I can't find this particular camera with a camera dock included at this price anywhere. Ok so you can get a better camera for £100, but this one is £60 with extras.
The reviews of this model are on the whole very good...just do a google search."There are no pockets in a shroud..."0 -

Very handy if you have spare SD Cards and rechargable batteries, (I assume they are AA batteries)... Otherwise this cost has to be factored in.The MSE Dictionary

Just use a USB cable and normal batteries so not an issue for me.0

Normal battery use becomes VERY expensive over time. I have a Kodak CX7530 with the camera dock and I love it. It takes excellent pictures (indoors are particularly good), it is very user friendly and the RC battery lasts absolutely ages. To recharge the battery and transfer my pictures in one fell swoop has been so convienent for me.
If you're a budding David Bailey then obviously this camera ain't for you. If you like tiny cameras then this one probably wouldn't suit you.
Its a good starter camera at a reasonable price."There are no pockets in a shroud..."0
