Concentrix - Can't get through due to technical issues

Has anyone else had difficulties getting in touch with Concentrix?
I received a letter from them recently and want to phone them to clarify a few things and also ask for an extension to provide staetments (as one bank account has since closed), but all I get is no rings, just an immediate message saying ...
'we are having technical issues please call back later'
Is this an ongoing thing, will I be wasting my time phoning back later today, do they mean days, weeks, months? Considering they require a fast turn around from me to provide info, the least they can do is provide a phone service.
Grrr

As we don't know what the technical difficulties are it's not possible to give a definitive answer but my guess would be either a power outage or a phone system failure. I would expect either to be resolved in hours rather than days or weeks.0
