Changing address halfway through application (after approval)

I’m buying a new build flat and the completion is expected in Q4, having received a mortgage offer from Halifax. Since my application I have moved address, (sold my house and moved into rental) although that is only recent. I am concerned that my credit file may not be fully up to date if we tell the lender now of this address change, presuming they re-credit check me. This is especially due to the fact that the mortgage offer teeters on the edge of expected completion so we may need to apply again regardless (and it seems wrong to do so using my old address, also as I’ve presumbably just dropped off the electoral roll register there). My broker is unsure of the consequences of updating my address and how it could impact the new offer and I am concerned as the last thing I want to do is lose the mortgage approval.
